Milton Country Park

As I needed to go to the wholefood co-op this morning, I stole an hour on my way to the shops to walk round the Country Park in the sun and do some birding. Nothing unusual about (other than a Peregrine flying over), just a lovely selection of the normal singing their hearts out.

Terrific photos, Azziria! What's your camera rig? Apologies if you've explained it before--I just found you and will be back for sure. Absolutely gorgeous work.
Wish I could see a flock of lapwings. When they show up over here, they're in ones...

Julie - I use a Canon EOS400D with a very basic assortment of lenses: the 20-55 mm kit lens that came with the camera body, a budget 55-200 mm zoom and a 50 mm f1.8 fixed lens. I covet muchly a 100-400 mm zoom, but at the moment, with me currently being at home looking after kids and studying, I can't afford it - I keep trying to think of what I could sell to raise the money. Post-processing is done in Photoshop.

It's lovely to learn that you both liked my photos - thank you for commenting :-)

Beautiful light on the grasses and cattails. Great bird shots, too! I really like your site a lot.
