Last year's Halloween pumpkin ended up in the compost, and, as a result, this summer unintentional
triffids pumpkin plants sprouted in odd corners of the garden. This one, by the greenhouse, was left to do its thing, with the result that we have two small but nonetheless carveable homegrown pumpkins for this year's decorations. All the better for being unexpected :-)
